Optical Excellence Application and Research Center
The Optical Excellence Application and Research Center is dedicated to advancing the R&D and P&D needs of companies in the optical sector while supporting local development goals. Established through projects funded by the Central Anatolia Development Agency, the Sivas Small and Medium-Scale Industries Establishment and Support Foundation, and the Presidential Strategy and Budget Directorate, our center provides end-to-end development and manufacturing services for optomechanical and optoelectronic components. These services include optical system design as well as optical functional thin-film coating applications.
Our center features a state-of-the-art infrastructure recognized by industry leaders for its ability to support advanced design, production, and testing processes in the optical sector. We deliver integrated solutions that combine key engineering disciplines such as optical, optomechanical, and optoelectronic design.
We also specialize in advanced coating technologies, including thin-film and hard carbon (DLC) coatings, in both the visible and infrared spectrums. These coatings improve the durability and performance of optical components, enabling us to deliver high-quality, long-lasting solutions for the private sector, public institutions, and the defense industry.
We conduct research in areas such as innovative optical design, optomechanical system enhancement, custom coating prescription development, and precision analysis and measurement. Our work integrates cutting-edge optical technologies into industrial applications and facilitates the commercialization of these innovations.
